GARI does maintain a magazine – Analytics in Government Quarterly, which visitors may signup for voluntarily using the subscription form. To subscribe you must provide your email address via the MailChimp subscription form and confirm subscription using the double-opt-in form. By subscribing to the magazine you consent to receive occasional emails from GARI. GARI does not share your information.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
We use Akismet to help prevent spam. Any comments submitted through this service are not saved on our servers unless they were marked as false positives, in which case we store them long enough to use them to improve the service to avoid future false positives. Protection of Information
GARI takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
Your Data Rights
If you subscribe to the magazine or have left comments, you can request to receive the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
To cancel a subscription or to remove your information please refer to your original Subscribe to Comments Reloaded subscription email, click the link to view your subscription, then check the subscription(s) you would like to remove and select the “Unsubscribe” action. Your subscription (and associated information) will be removed from the website. If you cannot locate this email, please feel free to contact us and we will manually delete your information from our site.
